We are seeking a motivated PhD candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will work on experimental characterisation of microstructure and moisture transport properties of carbonated and non-carbonated cementitious materials.
This project involves collaboration with numerical modelers to feed, calibrate, and validate moisture transport models using experimental data.
Key Responsibilities- Experimental characterisation of microstructure and moisture transport properties of carbonated and non-carbonated cementitious materials
- Collaboration with numerical modelers to develop and validate moisture transport models
- Data analysis and interpretation to inform model development and validation
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, materials science, or a related field, and prior experience in material characterization and mass transport in porous media.
