Our client, a renowned asset and wealth management firm with a long-term commitment to private equity and sustainable investments, is looking for a highly experienced Senior Private Equity Investment Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful direct investments in growth capital or small/mid-market LBOs.
The role offers a unique opportunity to catalyze solutions for plastic waste by investing in companies that can drive circular economy initiatives. You will be part of a global business with over 120 investment professionals and a network of 13 offices across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing an investment thesis through internal and external contributors
- Sourcing deals creatively and leading the due diligence process from start to finish
- Animating the portfolio to create shareholder value and updating the portfolio strategy periodically
- Expanding the network of co-investors, strategic buyers, and advisors in the relevant spheres
- Challenging and strengthening the strategy
The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of professional experience, including 10 years of direct private-equity investments experience in growth capital or small/mid-market LBO. A strong network in Europe of advisors, consultants, companies, and investors in a sector relevant to the plastic circularity strategy is also required. Fluency in English is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of French or an additional language is a strong asset.
