Job Description
As a Data Engineer at Safran Sensing Technologies, you will play a key role in improving our data management tools and enriching our database with new, valuable data for our users. This data, its analysis, and real-time availability will drive effective and rapid decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows.
- Mapping, structuring, and connecting available data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Leading data projects from concept to implementation and control.
- Designing a development and production environment to facilitate script debugging without impacting production databases.
- Implementing data cataloging and dashboarding for real-time data monitoring.
- Promoting a data analytics culture within the company by encouraging innovative data techniques (text extraction, data visualization, machine learning, etc.).
- Creating documentation to describe data flows and tools.
- Transferring knowledge in programming and data science (language, technique, documentation, etc.).
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis and structuring.
- Proficiency in Python and Apache Airflow.
- Knowledge of SQL and GIT.
- Fluency in French and English.
