Cagi is seeking a talented Senior Financial Manager to join our finance team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and procurement.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including the management committee and board of directors.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Lead procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure best value for Cagi.
  • Internal Controls and Risk Management: Establish and maintain effective internal controls, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Advanced university degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an NGO or start-up environment.
  • Chartered accountancy designation and/or audit experience are assets.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing and improving financial processes and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
