Accounting and Tax Specialist

Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence. We're currently seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax Specialist to join our team as a Statutory and Tax Reporting Manager.

As a key member of our Finance team, you will provide support to the Head of BSO Finance, primarily on the preparation of statutory accounts, local legal requirements, and tax compliance for Lonza entities in France and across other EMEA countries.

This is a hybrid role that requires onsite presence 3 days per week. You'll work closely with external providers, including auditors, banks, and tax authorities, to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Implement and maintain tax / transfer pricing strategy locally under guidance from the group tax team.
  • Statutory accounting and compliance, including IFRS to local GAAP reconciliations.
  • Business Case support: Assist with corporate projects, such as CIR / grants / simplification / pension matters / dividend repatriation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned: Includes cash flow forecasting, banking approvals, internal controls execution.
