Job Title: Materials Coordinator

Location: Neuchatel, Switzerland

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Up to CHF 58.32 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the organization. Key duties include:

  • Reviewing and approving order modifications, communicating directly with suppliers to negotiate changes.
  • Providing timely visibility on stock levels to other departments, enabling them to plan their activities accordingly.
  • Escalating issues when blocking points are identified, such as delayed orders or critical item shortages.
Additional Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Leading daily meetings with Raw Material Tiers, taking action when necessary to address any issues.
  • Analyzing MRP non-BOM messages and creating new orders accordingly.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activities, such as creating tutorials for Raw Material Supply Chain Activities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of GMP environments and ERP systems.
Language Skills:

Strong English written and verbal skills are essential for this role.
