We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zurich) to develop innovative brain imaging technology based on functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) technology.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of electrical system architecture, driving PCB/PCBA optimization, system robustness, and commercialization efforts.
- Design and develop key system components, advancing the optohive hardware and software toward extensive clinical testing in a multicentric study.
- Guide the system from prototype to commercial-ready medical device.
- Ensure adherence to medical device standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in PCB design (Altium), commercial product design, and experience with optical hardware, firmware programming, and communication protocols (UART, Bluetooth).
