About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Worldline. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the evolution of our payments technology and driving positive change within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient database architectures to support our growing business needs
  • Develop and maintain high-performance database systems to ensure optimal data access and query performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and access options
  • Manage and extend our current script tool library using technologies such as DOS, BASH, and VisualBasic
  • Participate in capacity planning and platform optimization to ensure seamless application performance
  • Ensure data integrity and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance of database systems
  • Develop and implement automated configuration management processes to streamline database deployment

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with relational database systems (SQL, Access)
  • Experience in performance analysis of database queries and accesses
  • Strong knowledge of database design and optimization principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good written and spoken German and/or French, business fluent English skills are required
