About the Role
This individual will lead the credit risk team covering the Gas, Power & Renewables division, ensuring consistency across regional offices. They will report directly to the Global Head of Credit and work closely with existing Heads of Credit covering Oil, Bulk, and Freight/TFG Marine divisions.
The key responsibilities include assessing counterparty creditworthiness, establishing and maintaining credit limits, conducting regular reviews and stress tests, and collaborating with trading, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the credit risk team covering the newest and fastest-growing commercial division – Gas, Power & Renewables.
- Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of counterparties, including customers, suppliers, and financial institutions.
- Establish and maintain credit limits for counterparties based on thorough analysis of financial statements, market conditions, and other relevant factors.
- Conduct regular reviews and stress tests of credit exposure, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
