About Our Role

We are seeking a highly skilled communications professional to join our team and support our clients' rare disease portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing, and be able to translate complex scientific data into clear and compelling messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications & Content Development
  • Develop and execute a global communications strategy for rare diseases, enhancing brand positioning and corporate reputation.
  • Create engaging content for corporate milestones, data releases, industry events, and disease awareness initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of brand messaging across internal and external channels.
External Communications & Media Relations
  • Assist in managing media relations, including preparing press materials, Q&As, and reactive statements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to affiliates for local media engagement and stakeholder outreach.
  • Support the Rare Disease Corporate Affairs Lead in acting as a spokesperson and engaging with key external audiences.
Operational & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate communication policies and industry regulations.
  • Track and analyze communication impact, making strategic recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to ensure proactive and timely messaging.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or Life Sciences.
  • Native English language level equivalent.
