We are looking for a skilled Valuation Controller - Private Markets to join our team at Schroders Capital Management (Switzerland) AG. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in private markets valuations. They will assist in the month-end and quarter-end valuation processes, including the execution of internal controls and review and reconciliation of fund valuations.

The successful candidate will collect, record, and analyse valuation relevant financial data of portfolio companies, including reviewing financial statements and management updates throughout the investment period. They will also coordinate with internal teams such as portfolio managers and internal operations' teams to gather necessary information for controlling and valuation purposes. Additionally, they will participate in the coordination and completion of external audits and regulatory reporting.

To excel in this role, you will need several years of work experience in the area of controlling, audit, accounting or finance. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, report preparation, and presentation creation is essential. Basic understanding of a programming language would be an advantage. Fluency in another European language, both written and spoken, is also desirable.
