About the Role

At Takeda, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Neuchatel, Switzerland. This is a full-time position that offers an attractive working environment and competitive salary.

Job Description:

  • Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory operations by overseeing the timely delivery of test results.
  • Collaborate closely with the QC Manager to uphold the highest standards of quality management practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
  • Manage multiple priorities and escalate issues for resolution when necessary.
  • Supervise and support a team of QC analysts, ensuring the completion of annual performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, and monitor testing techniques to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Solve problems concerning lab equipment and methods, and drive continuous improvement in the lab (5S).
  • Ensure audit readiness in laboratory, subjects preparation and presentation during audit.
  • Participate in the validation activities of the laboratory, and ensure the calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.
What You Bring to Takeda
  • A Master degree (or equivalent) or 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a Biologics company.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
  • An understanding of GMP, ICH, USP and global compendia regulations and guidance's.
  • Demonstrated understanding of continuous quality / process improvement tools (As defined by the site, e.g. DMAIC, 5S etc).
  • Enterprise mindset to ensure the right prioritisation in the lab.
  • Proven ability around working cross functionally, focusing on meeting and tracking to schedules and embracing an interdependent work culture.
  • People management experience: you demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and support the QC analyst team.
  • You have proven good communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong project management skills to support project delivery and operational readiness.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to coach and mentor self-directed teams through complex problem solving.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately CHF 80,000 per annum, plus benefits including accident coverage, health insurance premiums, advantageous pension plans, subsidised meals, financial participation in employee sports activities, transport support, and a car sharing programme.
