About the RoleThis position involves creating and maintaining application documentation, reviewing and testing against specifications, and establishing test traceability. You will also be responsible for analyzing and describing issues/bugs in our JIRA database and synchronizing and updating the Test Results Management tool.
As an Application Engineer, you will perform formal system tests and analyze defects/incidents to find the root cause of problems. You will also provide 3rd level maintenance support and contribute to development activities as needed.
Requirements- A high analytical capacity and ability to understand end-user needs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively
- Rigorous approach with a taste for challenge and a dynamic environment
- Fluent written and spoken English (German or French is an asset)
Proficiency in agile or scaled agile environments is preferred, along with experience using tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion. ATSEP certification is also a plus.
