Experienced Maternity Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternity Nurse to join our team at Good-People. As a Night Maternity Nurse, you will provide expert care and support to a new mother and her baby during the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert care for the newborn during the night, including feeding, diapering, and soothing as needed.
  • Monitor the baby's sleep patterns and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Offer guidance and support to the new mother on infant care practices and techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sleeping environment for the baby.
  • Communicate effectively with the family to ensure a smooth and supportive transition into parenthood.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maternity nurse or in a similar role with newborns.
  • Certified in infant CPR and First Aid.
  • Strong knowledge of newborn care, including feeding, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, nurturing demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role with families in Switzerland or abroad.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
