Financial Director and Strategic Advisor

About the Role

Smarttech247 Switzerland is a leading provider of AI-enhanced cybersecurity services, offering automated managed detection and response for a portfolio of international clients. As a fast-growing sector with an international footprint, the company is well-positioned for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial and management accounting functions at the Group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Directly manage the Group's internal finance team, currently based in Cork, Ireland, and oversee finance operations in Romania, Poland, and the UK, which are currently outsourced.
  • Work closely with executives and directors to create budgets, forecasts, and reports on results and performance.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board to drive business growth and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with senior-level experience and a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-country and currency environment, with experience working in a listed company environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing a small team and implementing financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in Sage Cloud accounting system and ability to prepare group consolidations under IFRS.
  • Experience in preparing financial reports for publication and dealing with auditors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
