As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that make a significant impact on a global scale. We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner III to join our Clinical Trials Division (CTD).

A Day in the Life

You will design, implement, interpret, and review inventory management plans to forecast supply plans for study drugs in global clinical trials. You will provide input into User Requirement Specifications for Interactive Response Technology (IRT) medication management modules and complete User Acceptance Testing if required.

You will review IRT strategies to ensure they support strategic supply plans and adjust IRT settings to optimize supply and demand. You will also ensure that plans are robust and optimize global and regional supply strategies to ensure continuity of subject supply in the most effective and efficient manner.

In addition, you will develop and provide clients with reports on actual project spend versus budget. You will establish connections between demand planning teams and S&OP processes, ensuring the latest forecast information is aggregated and integrated into divisional S&OP processes.

You will partner with Enterprise Project Managers, global and site project management teams, and/or directly with customers to proactively share key client data to facilitate effective supply chain planning cycles. You will ensure temperature excursion processes are performed as required.

You will establish and maintain financial forecasts and monthly billing processes for assigned client projects. You will also assist in training and onboarding new employees through a buddy concept. You will stay up-to-date on relevant cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring study management activities are aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business/operations management preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 4 to 5 years of supply chain and/or planning experience leading global supply chain design and logistics management, preferably as they relate to clinical program design and execution
* Understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and factors that influence study designs preferred

* APICS certification or equivalent preferred
