Research Opportunity
The Institute for Research in Biomedicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the Chemokines in Immunity laboratory. Under the supervision of Dr. Valentina Cecchinato, the successful candidate will contribute to advancing our understanding of the chemokine system in the context of HIV-1 infection.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to investigate the development and evolution of natural autoantibodies targeting the chemokine system.
- Collaborate with the research team to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Develop and maintain expertise in immunological techniques, including flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell culture.
- Contribute to the preparation of research papers and presentations for scientific conferences.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Strong background in immunological techniques and experience with in-vivo models of infectious diseases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
