About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for our growing Facility Management organization at a client in the financial services industry in Zürich.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operations Oversight: Manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.
- Facility Repairs and Maintenance: Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and provide solutions to maintain their satisfaction.
- Capital Projects and Budgets: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Facility Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Environmental Health and Safety Procedures: Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, ensuring a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
- Vendor Relationships: Establish and manage vendor relationships, review price quotes, and procure necessary parts, services, and labor for projects.
- Training and Development: Provide process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices to team members.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence parties to reach agreements.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may arise.
