Promotional Communications Project Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our ESMO Marketing department. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for project managing the full range of activities pertaining to the planning, implementation, review, measurement, and reporting of projects in promotional communications of specific ESMO products.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading professional organization in the field of medical oncology. The successful candidate will develop strategies and devise tactics to achieve ESMO's defined objectives, working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager and other teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and project manage promotional activities for assigned ESMO products, ensuring that all phases are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop promotional materials, including content for the ESMO website and support of industry sponsorship activities
  • Promote abstract submission and registration in collaboration with the Programme team and other stakeholders
  • Work with the ESMO Marketing Funnel to generate reporting and analysis, partnering with the Business Analysis Unit
  • Manage the creation and development of promotional materials, working with the Branding and Digital teams and external suppliers
  • Write, proofread, and revise promotional messages (print and digital)
  • Manage all administrative and financial matters related to promotional activities for assigned ESMO products
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Communication and/or Marketing Studies or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong experience in communication project management, with a particular focus on product promotional communication
  • Experience in analyzing business needs, designing appropriate marketing communication plans, and implementing them
  • Other marketing experience is a strong plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package, preferably Project Management tools, ability to learn new systems/software as required
  • Fluency in English
  • Other language skills are a plus
