We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Medical Director to join our team at Ypsomed AG. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge medical technology solutions for the treatment of diabetes and other chronic diseases.

• Scientific Leadership: Provide scientific expertise and guidance to our teams, ensuring that our products and solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficacy.
• Strategic Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for engaging with patient communities, advocacy groups, and healthcare professionals.
• Medical Affairs: Serve as the primary medical and scientific resource for our teams, providing medical assessments of technologies and therapies for the treatment of diabetes and translating complex scientific data into actionable insights.
• Training and Education: Develop, maintain, and deliver medical and educational training programs to support the adoption of our solutions.
• Content Development: Create scientific materials to support the dissemination of clinical evidence demonstrating the medical benefits of our solutions.

• Medical Degree: Hold a medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
• Board Certification: Be board certified in endocrinology or a related field.
• Leadership Experience: Possess extensive clinical experience in diabetes care, with a strong track record of leadership in a healthcare setting.
• Scientific Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong scientific understanding, ability to interpret and communicate scientific data, and solid interpersonal, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Language Skills: Be fluent in written and spoken English, with other languages being an advantage.
