Global Category Director

We are seeking an experienced Global Category Director to lead our Body Care and Innovation categories. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation across these categories.

• Holistic Leadership and Global P&L Responsibility: You will be responsible for the overall performance of the Body Care and Innovation categories, including sales, profitability, and market share.
• Strategic Development: Develop strategies for the respective categories, define and drive the innovation pipeline, create global category plans, and ensure sufficiency in the innovation pipeline to reach growth objectives based on consumer and market understanding, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Innovation, Campaigns & Design: Lead innovation projects and oversee product development. Brief and lead development of global campaign toolkits and packaging design in line with key market needs and category drivers.
• Global Brand & Category Plans: Own and manage global brand and category plans, collaborating closely with country marketing teams to enable excellent execution in the markets and maintain brand consistency.
• Market Monitoring: Monitor in-market performance, category trends, and competition to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for your categories.

• Degree: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Min. 5 years of brand management experience in cosmetics, skin care. Ideally expertise in German and French cosmetic retail landscape.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, effective in communicating and experience in managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information, financial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (in speech and writing); ideally also good German skills.
