At Generali Assurances, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT security professional to take on a leadership position and drive the implementation of cutting-edge security solutions.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on your work experience and industry standards in the financial services sector.

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Architect at Generali Assurances, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions that meet local and group-level requirements. You will work closely with the IAM team to develop Identity and Access Management (IAM/PAM) solutions that ensure secure access to organizational resources and information.

  • You will analyze threats to identify potential security risks and define mitigation strategies to protect our organization from cyber threats.
  • You will collaborate with IT colleagues to provide security advice and guidance to enhance the security of applications and services.
  • You will support the DevOps lifecycle by promoting a culture of security awareness within the development and operations teams.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background, minimum 5 years of experience as an IT security architect in the financial services industry or similar environment. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as IT, computer science, software engineering, or information security, is required. Additionally, expertise in Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle and exposure to agile working contexts. Familiarity with security best practices, such as NIST, and Swiss security requirements is also desirable. Holding security certifications like CISSP/CISM/CeH or equivalent is a plus.
