Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Burckhardt Compression AG. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technically successful implementation of compressor systems, from order placement to commissioning, within the framework of contractually agreed specifications and in compliance with international standards and regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical planning of international projects in parallel
  • Development of P&I diagrams, general arrangement, and foundation plans in collaboration with the CAD plant designer
  • Development of plant and operating concept, as well as system control description
  • Carrying out basic and detailed engineering, including creation of technical specifications for purchased parts
  • Technical evaluation of supplier offers and support and monitoring of global suppliers
  • Participation in internal and external technical meetings
  • Communication with other internal technical departments
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or process engineering, or equivalent education
  • At least 5 years of experience as a project engineer in an international environment in industrial plant construction and/or mechanical engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of the oil and gas industry, petrochemicals, or H2 Mobility & Energy
  • Profound knowledge in static and rotating equipment and their applicable codes and standards
  • PC-skills (Word, Excel, SAP, MS-Project)
  • Very good English and German skills, speaking and written
