**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Luxury Public Area Host to join our team on the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a legendary train and contribute to delivering unforgettable experiences for our discerning guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure that all public areas, including lounges, corridors, and dining spaces, meet the highest standards of luxury and cleanliness at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the cabin steward team to provide seamless guest experiences and maintain the impeccable presentation of public areas.
  • Assist in ensuring that public areas are stocked with essential items and replenish them as needed.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar high-end environment, preferably in hospitality or luxury services.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work extended periods on your feet, lifting supplies, and managing public spaces in a confined environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French and/or Italian is highly desirable.
