Job Summary

Jet Aviation AG is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of sheet metal technicians in the manufacturing of aircraft monuments. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of up to 15 technicians, promoting skills development, and recognizing achievements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise a team of sheet metal technicians to achieve assembling and manufacturing of parts for aircraft monuments, promoting skills development and recognizing achievements.
  • Project Management: Conduct assessment dialogues and recognize team achievements, ensuring jobs are performed in accordance with relevant documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaboration and Budgeting: Collaborate with the shop manager on quotations, refurbishments, and completion projects, coordinating with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Safety and Security: Implement corrective actions from audits and ensure continuous improvement through 5S actions and controls, upholding safety and security of the shop and team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders on escalation items, modifications, product development, and prototyping, cascading company and department communications effectively.

Your Profile
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead 10-15 people.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management, including budget, schedules, and KPI control.
  • Strong experience in water system, assembling, and welding.
  • Strong experience in manufacturing of sheet metal parts and complex assemblies (decorative and structural).
  • Professional experience in aviation industry with a deep understanding of regulatory processes (EASA P21G manufacturing and P145 fabrication).
  • Working on a daily basis with 2D and 3D drawings, with SAP and as well MS Office Toolsets are no obstacle.
  • Good English skills, any other language is a plus.
  • Proactive, forward thinking, and self-motivated team player.
