We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Assessment Engineer to join our Service team at Ansaldo Energia Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing gas turbine assessments, analyses, and technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, execute, and close out assessment tasks, with a focus on site work and customer interaction.
- Provide recommendations for reusability, repair, and preventive maintenance based on gas turbine assessment procedures and handbooks.
- Identify and highlight technical risks, such as critical hardware issues.
- Contribute to documentation and tool improvement initiatives.
- Support technologies, processes, and strategies.
- Provide inspection, outage, and engineering support to service and development projects.
- Contribute to special tasks, such as fleet and front runner outages and business opportunities.
- Diploma degree or trade qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent education.
- 2 years of experience in the gas turbine industry would be a plus.
- Knowledge of GT fundamentals and damage modes, reading technical drawings, writing technical reports, and customer presentations.
- Ability to travel worldwide, up to 80% on industrial customer sites.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to set priorities and act target-oriented and efficient.
- Strongly oriented to company goals and strategies, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Able to judge and analyze technical risks with respect to commercial impacts and requirements.
- Good presentation and written skills.
- Communicative and flexible team player with strong intercultural competences.
