Job Title: Senior IT Manager

As a Senior IT Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project management responsibilities, including handling commercials and risk, managing client relationships, and providing thought leadership in your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects that involve developing IT strategies aimed at performance improvement or value creation plans.
  • Manage business development activities, including responding to proposal requests, upselling existing engagements, establishing new relationships, and participating in pursuit meetings to secure new work.
  • Work on projects covering the entire lifecycle of a transaction, such as technology due diligence, IT carve-out, integration planning, day-1 readiness, and IT exit readiness.
  • Link business strategy with technology, defining recommendations, assessing impacts, and creating actionable plans.
  • Act as a role model for junior team members, guiding their development, and will be involved in recruitment and training efforts.
Requirements:
  • Applicable industry and/or consulting experience related to transactions, M&A, or IT strategy and transformation projects.
  • A strong track record of successful project delivery in corporate settings is essential, including managing project teams and vendors.
  • Demonstrated program and project management expertise, coupled with familiarity with industry standards such as ITIL or TOGAF, is required.
  • Experience in supporting sales and business development processes for professional services projects within a large-scale consulting environment is crucial.
  • Excellent analytical skills are needed, along with the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • A broad range of IT experience, including infrastructure, applications, databases, and networks, or a deep understanding of one or more core aspects of a typical IT function.
  • Building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influencing and advising key decision-makers, is important.
  • A Bachelor's degree with approximately 10 years of related work experience or a Master's/MBA degree with around 10 years of related experience is required.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and German/French are essential.
  • A demonstrated aptitude for both quantitative and qualitative analysis is necessary.
  • A degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • The ability and willingness to travel are also important for this role.
