Detailed client reviews and lifecycle modifications are key responsibilities of the Client Review Specialist role at Vontobel. This position involves overseeing client onboardings, ensuring due diligence, CDB checks, and KYC checks for individuals and legal entities in Switzerland and abroad. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of CDB and tax aspects, as well as strong service and solutions orientation, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic client reviews and lifecycle modifications for Wealth Management Client Relationships
  • Ensure smooth client onboardings, including due diligence, CDB checks, and KYC checks for individuals and legal entities in Switzerland and abroad
  • Provide expert advice and support the front office on all onboarding issues, such as KYC, AML, QI/FATCA and AEI
  • Assist in implementing and identifying change processes related to optimizing client onboarding and the client review processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in law or economics (or equivalent)
  • At least 5-10 years of practical experience in client onboarding and/or in periodic client reviews of wealth management clients
  • In-depth know-how regarding CDB (especially for domiciliary companies and trusts) and tax aspects (especially QI/Fatca/AIA)
  • Strong service and solutions orientation, with strong interpersonal communication skills for optimal client experience
  • Hands-on mentality, agile mind-set and willingness to learn
  • Structured, dynamic, able to work under pressure, reliable, team-oriented
  • Fluent in German (at least on a C2 level) and English. French would be desirable
