Packaging Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Packaging Engineer to join our team at Gi Group SA. As a Junior Packaging Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and testing of package components and packaging systems.

• Support the design, development, and testing of package components and packaging systems to ensure regulatory compliance for transportation and product registration.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to adjacent supply chain functions and end-users to ensure a safe user-friendly customer experience.
• Perform data management tasks related to packaging specifications.
• Provide supervised support to New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, ensuring all packaging-related milestones are completed on time.

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional experience as a Packaging Engineer, preferably in a similar industry.
• Experience in laboratory equipment for packaging measurement and testing is preferred.
• Ability to work supervised or independently with all functions to deliver goals on key projects or initiatives.
• Intermediate English level (C1 or equivalent), German (Swiss) local language proficiency would be beneficial.
