About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Engineer to join our team at risktec. As a Cloud Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in crafting innovative digital products and platforms for our clients, helping them achieve their business goals with efficient, effective, and robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop containerized microservices using C#/.NET Core and other technologies.
  • Integrate functional, unit, integration, and load tests of your code.
  • Document solution designs and architectural decisions using ADR (Architecture Decision Records).
  • Design and implement IaC solutions on cloud environments.
  • Explore new technologies and ways of implementation to continuously improve.
  • Grow in your role towards a senior, principal engineer, or architect, leading a development team or a particular practice.
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with business sense and mental agility, focused on high-quality outcomes.
  • Junior to mid-level experience means at least 1-2 years of in-depth experience in software architecture & engineering and at least 1 year of hands-on engineering experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS (or GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#/.NET (core), Java, Python, R, or JavaScript.
  • Good understanding and practical experience with different integration patterns, technologies, and protocols, such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, MQTT, and others.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and logically.
  • You feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts.
  • You're a great team player and communicate openly with your team members. You can articulate technical problems and solutions in a precise and understandable way.
  • Fluent in English, German, French, or Italian is a plus, as well as any other languages.
