Product Owner in Indices & Funds

Lombard Odier, a leading global wealth and asset manager, seeks an experienced Product Owner to join its Core Banking department. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the organization's strategic direction by developing a product vision and roadmap that supports our commitment to sustainable investing.

The successful candidate will form part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and developing the financial data management platform. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and the product team to ensure clear understanding and address emerging needs and issues.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with experience in managing application and digital solution delivery. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for prioritizing the backlog, creating sprint goals, and overseeing test strategy definition and execution. Your ability to break complex problems into simpler ones and prioritize them based on ROI is essential.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, experts, and external third parties in English.

About the Role
  • Develop a product vision and roadmap supporting the organization's strategic direction
  • Establish effective communication between business stakeholders and the product team
  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog
  • Create sprint goals, actionable epics, and user stories
  • Participate in project estimation costs
  • Ensure high product quality through test strategy definition and execution
  • Act as third-level support for incident management
  • Prevent technical debt in our solutions
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a product owner, project manager, or similar role
  • Excellent command of at least one programming language (C++, C#, .NET, Java)
  • Good knowledge of SQL language, REST, and communication protocols (Kafka)
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Clarity)
  • Ability to understand user expectations and anticipate new demands based on market trends
  • Candidates must be proficient in French and English
