Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing and characterizing novel in vivo oncology models. Your tasks will include performing efficacy studies with cutting-edge radioligand therapies, bio-distribution studies, and metabolites analysis. Additionally, you will perform pre-clinical imaging studies, including PET/SPECT/uCT.
Your experience will also involve supporting colleagues with various in vitro and ex vivo activities, such as cell culture, flow cytometry, IHC, immunofluorescence, PCR, and Western blotting.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have:
- A qualified lab technician (apprenticeship/vocational training) or BSc/MSc in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, biotechnology, pharmacology, or related field.
- Experience in performing animal studies, including animal handling, drug application, sampling, and animal welfare regulations.
- LTK1 or equivalent required.
- An advantage if you have experience working with open radioactive sources.
This opportunity offers a 100% workload and a 6-month duration, commencing in March 2025. You will be located in Basel, Switzerland, with an on-site work setting in the Pharma sector.
