Strengthen our engineering team by hiring a skilled Valve Expertise Engineer
Your future workday:
- Expert role in the field of valve expertise, covering application, product, and engineering tools.
- Conformity to specifications and customer-oriented design of compressors, valves, and backpressure valves in close collaboration with sales and construction, evaluating valve calculations and representing these against internal and external customers.
- Creation of valve dynamics reports.
- Consultation and support for internal and external customers with valve problems during the operation of the plant.
- Handling of complex damage cases with solution approaches, initiating implementation in collaboration with technical support.
- Introduction of ideas for the continuous development of the product portfolio.
- Maintenance and further development of valve design programs.
- Technical support for our service department and international sales in valve topics.
- Leadership in interdisciplinary and/or cross-departmental projects for the development of the product portfolio.
- Corporate and customer training on the application, design, and damage cases of compressor valves.
- Valve testing: Conducting tests in collaboration with R&D.
- Closely working with all parties involved in the value chain.
Your profile:
- Completed technical education in the field of mechanical engineering (FH/ETH).
- Proficient in using current MS Office tools, SAP, and 3D CAD, preferably NX.
- At least five years of professional experience in a comparable function.
- Good knowledge of thermodynamics is an advantage.
- Open, team-oriented, and communicative personality with high customer orientation, quality awareness, and entrepreneurial thinking and action.
- Highly independent working style.
- Excellent German and English skills (spoken and written).
