About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- System Design and Implementation: Design and implement various in-house systems and tools to support our game development process.
- Build and Deployment Pipelines: Develop and maintain fast and reliable build and deployment pipelines to ensure seamless game deployment.
- Crash Reporting and Analysis: Extend our game crash report and analysis systems to improve game stability and player experience.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of our systems, data, and infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Hardware and Software Management: Manage office hardware and employee software licenses, ensuring that our team has the necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently.
Requirements
- System Administration: Solid knowledge of system administration, including Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Build Systems and Automated Testing: Experience with build systems and automated testing, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Great analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks.
- Communication and Writing Skills: Excellent German and English communication and writing skills, with a minimum B2 level.
Preferences
- Computer Science Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Experience in operating CI/CD pipelines on platforms such as GitLab.
- Build System Expertise: Advanced experience with build systems such as CMake.
- Repository Administration: Advanced experience with repository administration, including Git and SVN.
- Databases: Experience with databases such as CouchDB.
- Web Development: Experience with web development.
