As Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include providing high-quality accounting, reporting, tax and payroll related services to client companies with timeliness and efficiency. You will be responsible for bookkeeping for Swiss and foreign client companies under adequate GAAP, as well as preparation and review of periodic reporting and year-end closing, including year-end adjustments for client companies, including consolidated client entity groups.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an accounting degree, or appropriate degree with relevant experience in performing complex accounting tasks. You will also need to have 5 years working experience in accounting, with in-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting for financial, industrial or services companies, payroll included, of various GAAPs and accounting systems, of the consolidation and reporting methods.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Accounting degree, or appropriate degree with relevant experience in performing complex accounting tasks
  • 5 years working experience in accounting, with in-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting for financial, industrial or services companies, payroll included, of various GAAPs and accounting systems, of the consolidation and reporting methods
  • Fiduciary experience is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Swiss accounting specifics
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships
  • Team player
  • Able to plan and delivery in a timely manner
  • Fluent in French and English in word and writing. Knowledge of any other language is an advantage
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Positive, flexible, steady under pressure and able to exercise independent judgment
