About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Development Leader to lead our team of Group Heads and Scientists. This is an exciting opportunity to drive process development stages for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products (DP) of biologics. You will be responsible for establishing a phase-appropriate DP process development strategy, ensuring alignment with local and global MSAT organizations during development and implementation. Additionally, you will network and liaise with partner units within the network to ensure strategic and technical alignment with overall Lonza strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Group Heads and Scientists in process development stages for biologics
- Establish a phase-appropriate DP process development strategy
- Ensure alignment with local and global MSAT organizations during development and implementation
- Navigate and align with partner units within the network to support Lonza's overall strategy
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences, Chemistry, or a similar field. However, we also encourage individuals with equivalent experience to apply. Key requirements include:
- Highly Experienced (10+ years) in Pharmaceutical development of Biological DP
- Leadership experience in multi-tiered teams
- Excellent communication skills in English, knowledge of German and French highly valuable
