Production Manager Trimbach/Olten

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group in Trimbach/Olten. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production operations are executed to satisfy customer needs in terms of quality, service, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute production in line with defined group standards, ensuring that SOPs are communicated and applied.
- Lead the definition of production flows rules, including one-piece flow, launching rules, batching rules, and takt times, in collaboration with other departments.
- Contribute to lab performance in terms of quality, cost, and service, setting objectives for main KPIs and monitoring results.
- Manage the production teams by planning staffing needs, assigning roles and responsibilities, conducting performance reviews, and orienting and training employees.
- Maintain lab equipment performance by developing operations staff, organizing audits, and proposing capex budgets to renew or maintain good technical levels.
- Ensure a continuous improvement culture is developed and maintained, motivating and rewarding improvement ideas and results.
- Represent the lab in and out of the factory, developing good relationships with customers and group support functions.
- High School diploma or bachelor degree
- Extensive experience in the optical industry, or product manufacturing, or mechanics
- Proven track record in managing and leading teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear direction and motivate team members
- Hands-on approach with a focus on practical solutions and implementation
- Commitment to fostering continuous improvement in processes and operations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in German is required; intermediate proficiency in English is necessary
