About the Role
Luxoft is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead our regulatory reporting transformation initiative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our current reporting system built in Python, while also leading the migration to Azure Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing Python-based reporting system to ensure stability and accuracy in regulatory reporting.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the current reporting workflows to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure that reports comply with regulatory requirements and meet audit standards by implementing best practices for data processing and validation.
- Lead the migration of the existing reporting system to Azure Databricks, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our business operations.
- Design and implement new, scalable reporting solutions using PySpark, SQL, and Databricks visualization tools to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Optimize data processing pipelines to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency of regulatory reports, reducing manual intervention and improving accuracy.
- Work closely with risk teams, regulatory compliance teams, and data engineers to enhance reporting workflows and integrate the new system into our Azure cloud infrastructure.
