We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at ETH and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for traffic control management in smart cities. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work on devising novel interventions to optimize traffic flow and reduce congestion in urban environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement game theoretic and data-driven control schemes to manage traffic flow
- Collaborate with our team and external partners to integrate human responses into algorithms
- Develop and deploy software solutions to optimize traffic management in various network conditions
- Mentor doctoral and master students, publish research papers, and contribute to teaching efforts
Requirements
- PhD in automation engineering or related field
- Experience in research and development of automation solutions for mobility systems
- Programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis
- Excellent English communication skills
