Gas Turbine Assessment and Engineering Expert

At Ansaldo Energia Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Gas Turbine Assessment and Engineering Expert to join our Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing gas turbine assessments, analyses, and technical assistance based on your broad knowledge of our GT26, GT36, and traditional fleet.
The role involves approximately 80% working on-site with customers and 20% documenting and preparing reports. Your tasks will include:
- Preparing, executing, and closing out assessment tasks
- Providing recommendations for reusability, repair, and preventive maintenance
- Identifying and highlighting technical risks
- Contribution to documentation and tool improvement initiatives
- Supporting technologies, processes, and strategies
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering or equivalent education, preferably with 2 years of experience in the gas turbine industry. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of GT fundamentals and damage modes, as well as excellent analytical and presentation skills.
You will work closely with our R&D, Engineering, Integrated Plant Support, Customer Service Managers, and Commissioning team to provide competent results and valuable recommendations to our customers. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
