Job Description:
The Strategic Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining forecast models for cloud hosting, customer support, services, and product expenses. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and refining forecast models to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Producing timely and insightful monthly and quarterly reports
- Developing a deep understanding of hosting costs to inform strategic decisions and predict changes in the organization's gross margin profile
- Evaluating the performance and efficiency of cloud resources
- Identifying opportunities to optimize cloud spending and improve overall cost-effectiveness
- Developing financial models to simulate scenarios and assess the financial impact of changes in cloud usage, pricing models, or infrastructure configurations
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Salesforce reporting
- Experience in extracting and transforming datasets from CRM/ERP/BI platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in forecast modeling and data analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment
