Job Opportunity: Tax Analyst

The Private Markets Tax Team at LGT Capital Partners is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to support the expansion of its operational tax capabilities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting in the annual tax compliance process, coordinating with external advisors, and arranging tax reporting to investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the annual tax compliance process, including coordination and review of tax returns prepared by external advisors.
  • Collect information for the annual U.S. tax reporting process in conjunction with external service providers.
  • Establish and oversee operational tax procedures and controls.
  • Assess changes in international and domestic taxation rules and their impact on investment funds.
  • Manage ad hoc tax projects and processes.

Requirements:

  • BA or Master's degree in tax, finance, or accounting; L.L.M. or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in tax (advisory and/or asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or real estate).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in German and advanced English required.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Team player, self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
