Key Responsibilities- Provide legal leadership and guidance on R&D transactions and collaborations
- Develop and implement legal strategies to support R&D business priorities
- Counsel on legal and business risks related to R&D transactions and collaborations
- Oversee the legal support for Technical Research & Development (TRD)
- Advise on R&D-related deal contract terms and licensing agreements
- Coordinate and oversee alliance management legal advising and contracting support
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Novartis policies
- Law degree and bar admission required
- At least 15 years' post-bar admission experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Experience providing contracting support and legal counsel on R&D transactions and collaborations
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
