Job Role Overview

As a seasoned Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing data pipelines within the Expleo organization, leveraging the Denodo platform to drive business growth. Your primary responsibilities will include addressing evolving business requirements, refining ETL processes, and ensuring the seamless flow of energy data across our systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust data workflows on Denodo to ensure scalability and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unify data sources and establish a coherent data model, driving business value through data-driven insights.
  • Guarantee the availability, integrity, and performance of data pipelines, proactively monitoring workflows to maintain high data quality.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven enhancements and insights, analyzing platform performance, and recommending improvements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ETL implementations, staying up-to-date with the latest Denodo/Spark features and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of implementing pipelines in Denodo.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in PySpark.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills in French and fluency in English.
