**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Bioprocess Engineer with a background in Life Sciences and a passion for Biotechnology to join our team in Upstream Processing or Downstream Processing or BioConjugate Manufacturing. As a Bioprocess Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on-time and within given safety and quality standards.
- Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area.
- Lead of one or more defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expressions systems.
- In charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g. capture, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from either mammalian or microbial cells.
- Responsible for entire processes or process units for clinical and commercial manufacturing projects in therapeutic BioConjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC).
**Key Requirements**
- Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor's holder with experience in pharma production.
- Knowledge in either USP (such as bioreactors) or DSP units (such as chromatography).
- Working experience in biomanufacturing would be an advantage.
- GMP experience and understanding of bioprocess technology.
- Excellent communication skills in English, good German skills of advantage.
