Job Title: Senior Materials Development EngineerDescription:

As a Senior Materials Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing strategic projects:

  • Develop methodologies for evaluating optical quality of ophthalmic lenses
  • Develop control strategies for polymerization processes and improve polymerization techniques
  • Design, perform, and analyze coating and printing experiments
  • Develop optical tools, both in hardware and software
  • Define optical requirements for printing materials
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ph.D. in Physics or related field, in special cases M.Sc. will be considered
  • 3+ years of experience in optics and/or ophthalmology
  • Advanced knowledge of high-level scripting & modeling SW, such as Python or MATLAB
  • Ideal experience in printing and/or additive manufacturing industry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under a demanding timeline
  • Quick and self-reliant learner
  • Team player
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
