Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant / Senior Tax Consultant to join our Global Mobility Services team at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

• Prepare and review Swiss tax returns with international exposure, tax equalization calculations, and tax projections for individuals.
• Prepare and review correspondence with tax authorities in relation to tax notices and/or audits for individuals/expatriates.
• Advise clients on a wide range of Swiss tax issues, including tax residence matters, cross-border tax implications, social security matters, taxable benefits, and tax reconciliation processes.
• Consult on international tax and social security matters, prepare Swiss tax returns, provide payroll advice, and support the management of some of our biggest accounts.
• Support in discussions/negotiations with the tax authorities regarding tax rulings, tax appeals, and complex tax situations.
• Communicate with individual taxpayers and other KPMG offices, as well as HR and Payroll contacts at our corporate clients.
• Take part in the preparation of engagement letters, offers to clients, and invoicing clients.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in any field. We welcome and value diverse academic backgrounds.
• A strong interest in tax matters and ideally a first experience in individual Swiss tax, with a Big 4 or consulting background in Switzerland.
