Asset Liability Manager

At Michael Page - Switzerland, we're seeking a seasoned Asset Liability Manager to join our client, a private bank. In this key position, you'll be responsible for designing and executing the bank's asset liability management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the bank's ALM strategy, aligning with its business objectives, risk appetite, and projected scenarios;
- Maximize treasury income through innovative investment approaches;
- Enhance forecasting tools for regulatory ratios;
- Continuously update capital, liquidity, and interest-rate scenarios;
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices, recommending adjustments to the ALM strategy as needed;
- Manage liquidity ratios within the risk framework and regulatory requirements;
- Supervise day-to-day treasury operations, collaborating with the Trading Department;
- Optimize the banking book from a return on risk-weighted assets perspective;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Management (or equivalent qualification);
- At least 10 years of experience in asset liability management within the banking industry;
- Fluent in French and English;
- Excellent knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework related to ALM;
- Strategic thinking;
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
About You:
You will work closely with the Executive Committee and top management of the bank in defining and executing the ALM strategy. You will also enjoy a nice working environment and be based in the city centre.
