Flavourist Formulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Flavourist Formulation Specialist to join our team at Givaudan in Kemptthal, Switzerland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support daily tasks of the Beverage flavourist. The successful candidate will work independently to compound flavour formulations, prepare emulsions, coordinate and evaluate raw materials and flavour panels, and apply flavour in various applications.

The ideal candidate will have excellent chemistry and mathematics skills, with strong knowledge of laboratory safety rules and regulations. They will also possess proficiency in computer skills, with experience in research documentation protocols and lab equipment handling.

• Compound flavour formulations, liquids, and powders
• Prepare emulsions
• Evaluate raw materials and flavour panels
• Apply flavour in various applications
• Organize and process data under the supervision of the flavourist
• Maintain logs and records
• Coordinate between departments with global team members

• Education as a chemical laboratory technician or Bachelor's Degree with first experience in a food applications lab, production, or related area
• Strong chemistry and mathematics skills
• Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal)
• Proficient computer skills
• First experience with research documentation protocol
• BASIC knowledge of lab equipment and handling chemicals
