Digital Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Design Engineer to lead our ASIC R&D team in Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will design digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones, collaborating with analog/mixed-signal designers, project managers, and other team members to develop high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital architecture and design specifications in collaboration with the project team.
  • Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS.
  • Work out the digital verification plan.
  • Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer.
  • Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electronic engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks/systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment.
  • Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT.
  • Hands-on experience in designing low-power digital circuits.
  • Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.).
  • Structured and methodological approach.
  • Strong team player.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
